- Size: 7"-8" x 1.75"-2" x 3/8"
Has taken the place of Brazilian as the bridge material for classical guitars because of the scarcity of Brazilian. It is one of the most stable of hardwoods, and makes excellent bridges, whether for steel strings or classical.
Indian rosewood bridge blank. The standard bridge material for factory produced classical guitars. The best of it, is dark, fine grained, and excellent for bridges, but most of it does not fall into this category. The bridge pictured does fall into the best of this category and is on a Daniele Chiesa guitar.
