Returns and Exchanges:
All claims regarding quality of wood must be made within 10 days on receiving shipment of wood. All claims or returns must be approved by Allied Lutherie before shipment is returned and or credited back. Wood must not be altered from original form from initial purchase.
For domestic shipping we use UPS Ground and charge a flat rate in most cases, with the exception of bulk orders for oversize items such as neck blanks, guitar body blanks and Cardinal Finishing items, for which we will charge the actual rate. The rates are $15 for orders up to $100; $16.50 for orders up to $250; $22.50 for orders up to $350; and $28.50 for orders over $350. Please contact us you need faster or other shipping options.
Because our products can vary so much in size and weight, all international orders are charged the actual cost of shipping with UPS, which we have found to be the most cost effective and reliable shipping option. Most of the standard shipping services that we use don't include insurance. It is the buyer's responsibility to contact us to request insurance and cover any additional costs that it brings. Allied Lutherie is not responsible for any items that are lost or damaged in transit that didn't arise from any negligence on our own part.
