Ebony Headplates

• Size: 8" x ~3.25" x 1/8"

Ebony peghead veneer, or more succinctly, headplate. For retail orders we sand them to .125" leaving a little room for cleanup. The first grade headplates are mostly black and quartersawn. The above peghead belongs to a guitar made by Kathy Wingert. Kathy dropped by our shop recently, bringing her daughter whom she introduced as her new inlay artist.
