The Torque Monster

With a full 1/4" of separation and a sturdy strip of mahogany between the two stainless steel bars (1/2" total height), the FlexStrong Torque Monster has more mechanical advantage than any other bow-style truss rod developed for stringed instruments. While it's very smooth-operating, it's also brutal in force against string-pull, all while weighing nearly the same as its Dual-Action counterpart.

The Torque Monster is available in any length up to 35 1/2"!

Spoke Nut Upgrade - Low profile spoke nut has a 0.5" diameter. Spoke wrench sold separately ($2.00), select wrench option above.

X-Nut Upgrade - Fender-style X-Nut has a 0.375" (3/8") diameter and is the same length as our traditional nut at 0.75" (3/4") long.

T-Rod Upgrade - Our FlexStrong T-Rod allows you to carve a thin neck without being concerned about the rod pushing through it when under tension. The 1/8" deep cross support bears the load at the nut end. We can place the support at either end of the rod to work with both designs that require adjustment at the peghead as well as the soundhole/heel end. Add your preference in the notes when placing your order. T-Rods are placed at the same side as the hex nut and opposite end of the spoke nut (if ordered) by default.
