Suggested by Kevin Ryan and Jeff Traugott, as superb tuners, these "organic" (note the liver-shaped buttons) looking tuners have a lot going for them. Start with the 18:1 gear ratio, just the thing for those whiny players that insist on having their guitars in tune. With very smooth turning, no side to side movement in the post, no nibs on the back of the housing to interfere with the mounting, and heavy beveled washers for the solid-mount-look, these futuristic tuners will make your guitars the envy of your neighborhood. By the way, the violet-chrome looks very much like nickel plating, which is to say, it's a tasteful look.
